Well an awful lot has happened since I last posted. Last Wednesday's weigh in result was a loss of 700g, which took me to 10.3kg in total. But the main thing that happened: my nanna passed away on Wednesday afternoon. I spent the whole day with nanna and the family and we were there when she went. It was really sad, but at least she is at peace now.
So as you can probably imagine, it's been a really hard week. I have still managed to get in at least half an hour of exercise each day though, except for yesterday. Yesterday was a complete blow out. We had Chicken Treat for lunch after the funeral, and Glenn and I had pizza and garlic bread for dinner last night. But you know what? I actually didn't care and it did make life easier coz I didn't have to cook or do anything.
BUT I jumped straight back on the wagon this morning and have been going strong all day. First thing I did when I got up was jump on the exercise bike for half an hour, which I really enjoyed. I've upped the water intake too, trying to flush out all the crap from yesterday. Then I was really excited about going to the gym this afternoon for my session with Rhys - I cancelled my session with Luke and rescheduled with Rhys instead - but that didn't turn out as planned.
As usual, I got to the gym 15 minutes before the session was meant to start (5pm), gave them my card as I walked in and jumped on the treadmill. Anyway, 5pm came, 5pm went. I was just thinking he was running late or something, and didn't stress too much. Then, at 5:15pm, I decided to go to reception and told them I was meant to have a session with Rhys at 5pm. The girl at reception (she's new) and a guy who turned out to be Rhys - turned around and told me that I should have let them know that I was there. Now, I've had over 30 PT sessions at that very gym with different trainers and have always been told to jump on the equipment and they'll come get me. It's called a warm up.
Anyway, they told me that they had been trying to call me on my phone. That's lovely, but why not look at the cards of the members that are actually IN THE GYM at that moment??? And once they work out I'm actually there, perhaps look in the gym for me?!?! So that pissed me off big time, I missed my session and to top it off was told it was my fault. That's a load of shit and I will be speaking to the manager of the tomorrow. Grrrrrrr.
I booked another session with Rhys on Thursday at 1:30 but I seriously don't want to go. Will plead my case to the manager tomorrow and hopefully it will result in a refund for my remaining 10 sessions. Then I will go train with Daniel again.
In other news, not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in, but not expecting anything this week so I won't be too disappointed.
